Flexible event space
studio one
Studio One, part of The Derby Collection, is one of our largest and most versatile spaces, welcoming not only corporate meetings but also memorable private gatherings. This bright, modern venue is filled with natural light and spans an entire floor, thoughtfully divided into two flexible wings that can be used together or independently depending on the nature of your event.
Its adaptable layout allows for creative event planning — from an elegant, seated dinner in the East Wing to an open bar and reception in the West Wing, creating a dynamic flow throughout the evening. Studio One is also perfectly suited for bespoke entertainment, with the possibility to collaborate with third-party providers for experiences such as casino tables, live performances, or even immersive murder mystery evenings.
Whether hosting a presentation followed by an informal dinner, a wedding celebration, milestone birthday, hen party, gala dinner, or another special occasion, Studio One provides a stylish and highly customisable setting. The space can be fully personalised and dressed to reflect the character of each event and may be hired in its entirety or as one of the two wings, offering exceptional flexibility for celebrations of all sizes.

Located beneath The Megaro Hotel, a stone thrown away from The Derby, Spagnoletti Restaurant is our vibrant all-day dining modern Italian restaurant, offering a dynamic and characterful setting for private events and celebrations. Spread across two levels, the space blends a quirky, eclectic atmosphere with the warmth of Italian hospitality, creating the perfect backdrop for gatherings of all kinds.
From intimate celebrations of 20–30 guests in the semi-private mezzanine, to larger groups of around 50 guests, or even partial or full restaurant hire for bigger occasions, Spagnoletti offers exceptional flexibility to suit the scale and style of your event. The venue’s lively personality pairs Italian culinary tradition with a contemporary twist, bringing together bold flavours, creative presentation, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Events at Spagnoletti can be fully tailored to your needs, from canapés and bowl food receptions to full seated dinners, accompanied by carefully curated drinks selections. Our chef team and front-of-house professionals work closely with every host to ensure each detail is considered, delivering events that run seamlessly and leave a lasting impression.
Semi Mezzanine

At the heart of the room sits a remarkable design feature: the wooden dining table crafted from timber reclaimed from Nelson’s HMS Victory, the very ship that fought in the Battle of Trafalgar. This extraordinary centrepiece brings together British history and heritage with the opportunity to create new and unforgettable memories around the table.
The Marine Room is further enhanced by its high vaulted window overlooking the entrance of The Megaro Hotel, allowing natural light to filter into the space during the day while maintaining a sense of exclusivity and calm.

The dining room itself features comfortable padded seating and a large window that floods the space with natural light during the day, while in the evening it frames the lively atmosphere of the city beyond.
